Golf Marathon Heroes Raise €41,000 for GIST.
On Saturday, August 29th 2026, 33 enthusiastic golf heroes set out to play 45 holes of golf in a single day. Their goal was to raise as much money as possible for GIST. The event took place on the beautiful polder course in Spierdijk. At exactly 6:45 a.m., the horn sounded, and the first balls were teed off. After a somewhat rainy day, the participants began streaming back in around 6:00 p.m., tired but very satisfied.
With a total of €41,000 in donations, we can safely say that this day was once again a huge success.
A very heartfelt thank you to all participants, volunteers, sponsors, the golf marathon organizers, and, of course, Spierdijk Golf Course.
